We are active members of the Fire Resisting and Glazing Group a specialist group within the GGF. This group has produced a Best Practice Guide and is currently invloved in producing NVQ's for Fire Resisting Glazing. Kevin Hulin-Mann McGowan Director is the Chairman of this Group.
Mannmcgowan Image Guild of Architectural Ironmongers

We currently have 3 members of staff studying the GAI Diploma course in respect of architectural ironmongery. This will assist us in offering the correct items of ironmongery to our clients

A number of products manufactured by us have Certifire - Third party accreditation. This scheme is run on behalf of the British Woodwork Federation by Warrington and includes and ongoing auditing system by Exova Warrington Fire
Mannmcgowan Image BWF FIRE DOOR SCHEME

The BWF-CERTIFIRE Fire Door & Doorset Scheme was established by a group of Prime Fire Door Manufacturers, aiming to increase the standard of fire doors across the supply chain. The Scheme has now expanded to include not just the market leaders in fire door manufacturing, but also in converting, ironmongery, intumescent seals and glazing systems, and, more recently, merchants and installers.
